Frequently Asked Questions

What patients do you work with?

I work with individuals and family units of many backgrounds and experiences. By practicing cultural competency and collaborating with clients, we establish personalized plans that are accessible to the individual.

My services focus on pediatric therapy, caregiver support, and prenatal/postpartum wellness.

What do treatment plans look like?

  • Initial Evaluation: 60-minute assessment to understand your family's unique needs.

  • Personalized Therapy Plan: Tailored sessions at home or via telehealth.

  • Ongoing Progress: Regular follow-ups to ensure success.

Do you provide home visits?

Yes, I specialize in home-based therapy to support families in natural environments. I also offer telehealth sessions when needed.

What insurances do you accept?

Currently, I offer self-pay options and am working to include insurance coverage in the future. Sliding scale options may also be available.

What assessments do you use?

Assessments are focused on interviews and observations. A variety of standardized assessments are utilized if needed and deemed appropriate for a holistic evaluation.

What is occupational therapy?

Occupational Therapy (OT) serves to build people's self-autonomy and independence (however that will look for them). Our sessions can look as simple as brainstorming alternatives for building habits, adjusting routines and time management. They can look very mechanical and focus on exercise programs, or they can consist of altering how one sits on a chair to feed their babe.
