Meet Kelly Van Clief, M.S., OTR/L
My name is Kelly and I am a licensed and registered occupational therapist. Since attending Elizabethtown College for my Masters, I have worked within pediatrics for 10 years across multiple settings including schools, early intervention, sensory gyms and clinics. I have found that progress was best made when caregivers were equally supported and empowered.
In this practice, I focus on the family unit and supporting parental wellness as much as the children’s. This involves many different services from to educating and empowering birthing individuals before and after welcoming their new loved ones into their lives to recognizing how to adapt to the novel activities and routines that are unique to parenting .
Outside of the therapy space, I love to find and participate in outdoor adaptive recreation groups! I mostly focus on climbing (you can find me climbing regularly with ParaCliffHangers!) and surfing, but have participated in adapted cycling and kayaking spaces as well. If you have any interest in exploring these activities and finding the right supports and community for you, please reach out!
